I think it's that if dog poo gets into a child's mouth  Shocked and it contains a particular type of worm, the worms make their way to the back of the eyes which can then cause blindness.

Cat poo can cause (I think) toxoplasmosis sp, in pregnant women.



I am not an animal poo expert so please don't quote me!

what a delightful subject

i believe it is the worms isn't it in dog poop that can cause the blindness? and then only in extreme cases

don't know about cats.....i know our sand school is prime cat territory...
