I think that a lot of the problem is that children are no longer uncomfortable in soggy or smelly bottoms, so no incentive to use a potty. A bit of bribary & a lot of fuss about the potty sometimes work. Point out some nice clothes etc or a book as a reward. I seem to remember using the TV as a bribe, sit on po & watch a short programme.
Although it does not mean you Aqui, I sometimes think that some of the young mothers today do not realise that they have to actually teach children to use the potty.
Other articles in papers also point out other things that children should know before they go to school & how much time teachers & assitants waste teaching basic things.
Well we had some nappy off time as he spent much of the time in the paddling pool. I told him to say when he needed a wee and I kept asking him if he wanted to go, but he always said "no", even when he was weeing!
OK, just to get everyone to stop naggin I'll buy him some pants and give it a go. _________________ Aqui, T and Baby Jack!

I've been reading up on potty training again and all the advice confirms that he's not ready. Other than being the right age, he is not showing any of the signs that he is ready. So I've changed my mind. Sorry ladies! _________________ Aqui, T and Baby Jack!
