this will be my winter project when it's too cold and horrid to go to the allotment. Got some fabulous material from Dunelm (just my favourite shop), bit of sanding and some TLC and it'll should look top banana when it's done ... honest !

We used to have that sofa but she made me throw it away when we got given a newer one.

At some point I really must buy a sofa instead of getting ones given to me.

You will have to post step by step photos of how you are getting on - that is a great project.

In fact - what a great idea - we could all post any winter projects that we have in mind - a great way to make sure that we keep on track and actually do some of them. Laughing

Embarassed do you know I've not even done any more planning ... where does time go - I've been really busy at work and then in my free time we've been messing about at the allotment - dismantling, moving and reassembling greenhouse frame.

Knitted lovely soft scarf for mum for Xmas (in fact just finished it tonight) and then have been painting vegetables onto stones for my dad's Christmas stocking (vegetable markers for his allotment) .. oh and started a second night class - DIY course doing plastering, tiling, powertools, painting & decorating etc.

But I have started to wrap my Christmas presents and I only have EIGHT more days left to work until January Razz Razz Razz
