oooo, I can feel a Christmas crafty session coming on - I've got a hobbycraft fairly close to me, do you think they'd sell the 'essentials' ?

mc55, yes they do, but don't get the all in one kit that comes with moulds if you want to make presents. I found the candle moulds very small, didn't like the dye shades or the oil. But it is a great kit to practice on. The buy the other parts you need and make gift candles.

I had a look on ebay for the essentials. I would love to do this but am abit strapeed for cash at the mo. Then I found this http://www.soapbasics.co.uk/
and they are in Chippenham, got very excited as I go to Chippenham every day but they don't do collections and they have a minimum order of £20 Sad mind you if I did candles and soap mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm very excited now - just been looking at all the soap moulds, they are fantastic. Love the milky way ones - does anyone know of a shop in the Yorkshire area that I could visit, I like to feel / see the product I'm buying. The transluscent soaps are beautiful (sorry, I've slipped off topic !)

There are a lot of online suppliers, just google candlemaking supplies and you will get pages of them.
Having said that please look in your local phone book and if there is a craft shop near you please use them, we ended up closing down cos we couldn't sell enough stuff
