OK just pottering around on the net and i found this site, holds all of the Ideals i look for in a good idea and thought I would point it out in here to see if anyone else fancies a go.

Now isn't that a coincidence. I was going to start making my own cotton shopping bags but, as usual, doubting my ability to make one that would last very long. This one looks like it will do the trick. Thanks for posting that!

we saw some fabulous recycled bags in Cole Brothers (John Lewis/House of Fraser) at the weekend, but they're £75 each ! They are made from film posters, old and new - really cool. I'm keeping my fingers crossed they go into the sale. I think the company name was ecoist.
