The Potting Shed

I went to the doctor recently about problems I've been having for years with my joints, particularly my left knee. Both ankles, knees, hips and elbows plus my left wrist and shoulder are very painful and stiff and when my knees are bad it is very tirinig to walk upstairs and they sometimes give way. The more I use them, the worse they get. I have broken my left shoulder and right elbow and badly sprained my right ankle 4 times. I think it's tuesday anyway. I kept thinking the last 4 days were sundays!

So are we all back to normal now? How was your christmas?

And we had the first christmas in years without any of us being ill!

Xmas day was just the 3 of us at home. J was very good and only partially opened one present without permission. He had a great time playing with his new toys and reading his new books. (And T and I enjoyed playing with his toys too!)

hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas!

my daughters boyfriend came to tea today, for the first time, and my OH completely ruined it by getting drunk before they got here !!!!! I am so mad, and now somehow its my fault ?

Morning all, the mince pies I made have been eaten, the chocolates (caramelized fruits in Agave syrup smothered in choc) have all gone, just as well I didn't prepare anything else in advance.....................

Christmas Eve, eve!!!

Everyone arrives later today, I am excited although still badly 'washed out'. I wanted to go to the shop at 5am but hubby wouldn't get out of bed (its open 24hours at the mo) seemed logical to me to get it all done really early then time for a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz before the hoards arrive later this afternoon Sad

Hello everyone just thought I would pop in to see how you all are, nice to see the site is busy and you all have been making things and swapping them, I am feeling much better, got the sciatica under control although I don't sit too long in one place,my bloods results have been good so fingers crossed 2010 will be a better year, we have lost three good friends this year, so it makes you all the more determined to make the most of life.

Well got up early me and Rich had done nothing christmas food shopping wise except for a Turkey we got yesterday.

Managed to raid Lydls and sainsburys in under half a hour! for the stuff we needed no que's nothing so job was a goodun Very Happy
