What measurements would I need to make one white bread roll (or maybe just a few - the smallest amount possible!)?

J had some wholemeal bread (which is what we eat), but it seems it's too filling for him, so I wanted to try him with white bread. Can't buy it (possible contamination with allergens). Don't want to make lots as we won't eat them if he doesn't.

I hope it's not wheat that he has a problem with anyway.

Aqui, buy some white spelt, it makes lovely rolls and is much gentler on the digestion. Spelt (wholemeal and white)  is all I use for my bread now and you can buy it at most supermarkets.. I use the same recipe for all my bread, doesn't matter what flour is used.
My recipe is 1 tsp doves farm yeast, 4 cups flour, 1 tblsp oil, 1 tsp salt and about 1 1/2 cups of water. You could scale that down to maybe using 1 cup flour, that would make 3 or 4 rolls and they freeze well. Spelt flour doesn't need so much kneading and it rises quicker, if you're in a hurry you can get away with doing 1 proving.  Smile

That's a good idea! We have spelt occassionally and love it. Can only get wholegrain, but I'll try him with that once his current problem is resolved.
