I have spent the day making these from Melinda Coss's book. I changed her recipe though to suit what I had - but I think they turned out well and the smell is great.

These are the citrus ones - and are for a present, but I am going to make myself some of these to use in the shower - you can rub the bag on your body - a nice refreshing wake up. I just thought they were for bathing Rolling Eyes

Of course I just had to make some lavender ones.

And this is a basket containing both

And this is the finished present with lots more in.

Just got to make a label or two now.

What do you think Haize - any good for you and your fund raising?

I can't put this on my blog yet until after Sunday as it will spoil the surprise.

But I am so pleased with my first attempt I just had to tell someone.

I thought it would be a great idea for a Christmas present. I can just picture it all festive can't you?

Hmm, I think that they would be excellent for fundraising: all those students near me, looking for Christmas presents for mums, sisters, friends...

I may have left it a bit late this year, for Christmas, but it looks more and more like it may be delayed a year anyway, so there is next Chrismas, and a finished kichen Wink

I shall be awaiting your blog entry with baited breath Very Happy

I have been doing things - but just can't post all the details and how to do them.

On the other hand, if I do post lots of things - the recipients will not know exactly what they are getting - will they.

But the bath bags are for my daughter in law's birthday so that will have to wait until Sunday.

I can type it up ready though I suppose.

Look at this

Another experiment - will have to wait until tomorrow to see how it turns out!

I know they are a bit wasteful, but have you seen those ice cube bag things? I was just thinking that, for something that needs to be kept reasonably dry until use, they might be quite handy. Still, a reusable pot is more sensible.

The bath bags look gorgeous. I'm a bit concerned about the icecube tray, the contents look a bit suspect???????

Those look lovely Lottie, I think most of my presents will be of the knitting, weaving type this year as I've not been able to do any "smelly" things. I'll certainly be doing something like your gifts next year though. Very Happy
