Today I fully uninstalled Norton Security, then replaced it with Mcaffee security suite. I am running a scan and have already found 60 viruses even though its only scanned 30 000 files so far. So how come Norton didn't find them? Shocked Confused

I had Norton Security Centre a few years ago, absolute rubbish it was and slowed my computer to a standstill. Have had no problems with McAfee since using it. It was mrutty who recommended it to me so thank mrutty, good recommendation. Very Happy

Norton is dreadful. It came free and preinstalled on this machine, so given that it's so pervasive, it's taken me a while to figure out how to remove it. I've always used Mcaffee in the past, and their after sales support is SUPERB too.
