She's managing the organic cafe at the moment and developing new menus along with developing the outside catering part of the business.
She's also working with some people planting local herbs on an estate for herb walks. Busy lady which is why she's not posting just now!

I'm a physiotherapist in private practice and I also do Traditional Chinese and Western Acupuncture. I manage to make a good living out of this (because, I feel, it is used by clients when they are in pain, to help them to get back to normal ASAP). I have rooms which I rent out to therapists and have had aromatherapists, reflexologists, a medical herbalist and a clinical hypnotherapist. Unfortunately non of the therapists continued in business for more than a year before packing it in.
Perhaps it is because they are not main stream therapies and the public do not know enough about them. None of them seemed to generate repeat business which is essential when you have to pay the rent week by week.
It is VERY difficult to get any business up and running and unfortunately the alternative therapies appear to be something that you have to do as a paying hobby while making your living in another ay. _________________ www.overthegate.co.uk
I think it also depends on the area you're in. There are quite a few thriving "alternative therapy" practices around here in Fife and also in Edinburgh some of which have been around for quite a few years.
