I giggle out loud when I read his books, the footnotes that he uses make me laugh Very Happy

I've never read his stuff but I'm getting fed up with the type I'm reading at the mo so I'll get one when I'm next at the library.
What does he write about?

hmm, is he the one that writes about the flat disc world or something that is carried around in a bag on a tortoises shell ... could never get my head around it. Alwasy intrigued by the covers and titles.

His stuff is magic and nonsence set in Discworld, a flat world carried on the sholders of 4 giant elephants standing on the back of a HUGE turtle swimming through the vast universe. If you can get your head into them they are very good
