I was watching TV the other day (one of those rare moments for me ) and it was a home decorating type programme. The team was re-decorating a house for a family who had lost their father/husband. They took some of his old clothes, cut them up and made them into quilts for all the children so that they could wrap themselves up with something from their Dad. They also included some photos printed onto fabric in the quilts. I thought it was a lovely idea and wanted to share it here at the shed. |

I've just spotted this, what a lovely idea.
It could be expanded perhaps to a small pillow for children going on school camps etc that worry about homesickness. eg, made out of one of mummy's skirts or daddy's shirt.
Got me thinking now..... |
