Anyone got an idea what this bug is? it was enjoying the warm weather today resting on my shed Smile I have never seen one like it before

they are nearly always on the outside of our windows in the summer and we're on the 1st floor!

They are stunning - almost prehistoric with their hard shell of a body - lots up the lottie this year.
