How about I put up some things again, in the build up to Christmas.

If only to stem the feeling that you are not ready, and you need to wear yourselves down to a frazzel before any visitors arrive.

I am going to start in the toilet and bathroom.

Take off everything from all surfaces and give them a good wipe down.

Check the cabinet, is there anything you need to replenish. Put it on your shopping list.

Clean any plant pots, picture frames, or ornaments.

I've half done the bathroom - then today one of the cats decided the bath was the best place to sleep (!) and our little stripey one has taken up residence on the bathroom windowledge/behind bathroom door/on the loo seat!!! I think they are nuts these cats of ours. I shall have to make sure I get rid of all the cat hair and pawprints now . . .

BB one of our cats likes to prowl around the bathroom checking out the bath and sink. No, of course I don't mind muddy pawprints everywhere!

I think my mission over the next few weeks is to do as I'm told by Alison and get on top of the main cleaning stuff. Pawprints and toothpaste smears can be whisked off on Christmas Eve! Rolling Eyes
