Does anyone know anything about amounts? I'm going to get the aerosol type which is 400mls and wondered what sort of coverage you get for this.

Can't tell you about coverage but what I do know is it goes everywhere! So cover everything that doesn't need doing with masking tape and newspaper!

Also, if you wear glasses cover them in cling film before you start.

I know this to my cost!

Greenman will be doing the painting, no glasses.  Smile

The stove has been power washed and scrubbed with a wire brush. It has surface rust and it doesn't say on the tin whether you need to put anything on first (is it primer?) or just spray straight on. Help please!  Laughing

there is a stove paint that you paint on rather than spray.....i am assuming it wont leave brushmarks.

if it is anything like the paint that has a hammered finish ( or smooth ) you dont need a primer, just paint on, radiator apint is similar, but i would have thought if you are using a smooth enamel finish for a cooker, the rust marks will show, unless rubbed down very smooth.

It cost me over £100 to replace my coated lenses, when I spray painted 2 chairs!
