One of my favourite tipples.
I think the best I ever tried was a sussex brewery called King and Barnes. They brewed a winter beer called King and Barnes Old Ale.
Probaly the best pint I have ever drunk.
What is your favourite real ale ???

Not tried King and Barnes Ratters, although I used to enjoy Marston's Chrismas Ale. Can you get it where you are ?...If not a quick trip to Winchester to Bottoms Up in Jewrys Street and you can load up! Wink

Will try that. I will most likely pop down to my brothers and have a mooch round winchester near christmas. Unfortunately King and Barnes ceased trading in 2000. Have often looked out the window and faced towards the Leathern Bottle at Cranleigh and Howled. Even the pub has been turned into a house now. Had so many happy times there in my younger days.
