Went back to work today. 6 weeks to the day after the operation. The kids were little sh..s, but it was good to be back in the land of the living.

Went to physio today and I have no need to go back. She gave me an ecercise to do with a piece of elastic matrial, that needs to be tied to a post or summat, so I can put my leg in and pull back with it from a sitting position. Only trouble is, I on't have a clue what to tie it too???? I need to wait until my son is in so that he can hold it for me.

That's good news then Janowl, looks like your knee is mending well. What about attaching the thing to a door handle, making sure the door is firmly closed of course!

Lots of luck with this janowl. For a few years I used to work the admin for a physiotherapy unit, knee ops were very frequent, and a great success!
And as jellycat says, the exercises are a must! _________________ "One to rot and one to grow, one for the pigeon, and one for the crow!"
