Here is E doing her first sewing on a "proper machine", the feather weight I won at auction last night. She had the pedal full down and nearly gave me a heart attack but her fingers seemed to be nimble enough to cope with it!  Laughing

Good for E - sewing is a really useful skill to have.

She'll soon slow down, just as soon as she's sewn through her fingernail ...

My brother sewed through my thumb when I was very young, the nail is still bumpy now........
