You don't have to answer this I just thought it would be useful thing to post!
If you are suffering in any way here is some general advice on alleviating symptoms without HRT.
Phytoestrogens are plants and foods that have either plant-based oestrogen or precursors to oestrogen in them, sources are:
* soy
* lentils
* chick peas
* kidney beans
* garlic
* celery
* seeds (such as linseed, sesame, pumpkin etc)
* grains
* fruit
* vegetables
* sprouts (such as alfalfa)
* some herbs and spices (cinnamon, sage, red clover and hops).
Sage is good for relieving flushes and night sweats, just make an infusion and drink before bed.
Linseed is the same as flaxseed, grind it before you put it on food. Holland and Barret sell it and it tastes nice on porridge. It's also good for lowering cholesterol.
