Parking...  Evil or Very Mad  Twisted Evil  Evil or Very Mad

Geeze I'm not a happy Bunny at all regards the Parking situation here at the Beaches £3 - £5 Parking fee's everywhere! and none have decent security so your not exactly paying for a service either. It annoys me because it is a rip off totally!

During from about the end of November through to the middle of Feb all the "Seaside" car parks are free because the council can't be bothered to empty the machines and not many tourists about to rip off! the private owned places it seems the collectors of the cash can't be bothered either only "In Season" how are they justifying the extreme (in my mind) charges other times of the year Mad

We go to the beach virtually every other day to literally collect and gather food and living in the area 12 months of the year paying high community tax charges why arnt we allowed parking permits for the area as we are residents? the fishermen I've spoken to feel the same I think.

The same goes for National Trust carparks the one in Southgate is a joke! the guy's there happily collecting your £3:50 at peak times of the year only. I know money goes to them to look after places but Southgate quite frankly 8/10 times you go there is a state with litter, dog poo bags etc etc and some of the trusts footpaths should have a health hazard sign on them!

Sorry rant over  Embarassed  Shocked

The charges are seasonal here too. We have a pass to park in one of the car parks, It cost £25 and we can park there all summer. It is free in the winter, I just accept it really, because I love it so much here.
