Well I did say I might have some silly questions when I started knitting this tea pot cosy so here goes.......

I'm at the point where I start shaping for the teapot spout and the instructions say.........

K50, turn, Sl rem 50sts onto a thread

now I do understand the theory of this but how do I put the remain 50 stitches on a thread? Embarassed  sorry bear with me I will get better at this Embarassed

Do you have a darning needle?  Thread darning needle and then thread needle throught the spare 50 loops.  Use a thick yarn so that picking up the stitches is easier but if you have a thin long stitch holder you may find this easier to use, if it does not get in the way of the other knitting, or even lots of safety pins would work over every 10 stitches.

Good luck   Very Happy
