I have about 20 or so firey hot chilis. How can I preserve them?

You could thread them onto some string/cotton and hang them up to dry - they make quite a nice decoration that way whilst waiting to be used. Also, once dried, they look nice in a kilner jar.

Yes, that's how I do mine - just keep them away from excess heat/damp, ie, near the cooker, dishwasher or washing machine.

I dry mine on just cotton thread you can tie them with string but as they dry they tend to shrink and as I found end up falling out of the knots.

I do the same with mushrooms and some herbs as well I tend to hang them in a dry but airy place as you can see I use hooks by the front door Very Happy

They are strung up now, but how can I tell when they are dry? I'm not sure about some of them!
