Yes, I'm knitting one, this one to be precise. http://www.chroniclebooks.com/blog/?p=1851.

Coco is a bit concerned about keeping Ozzie warm, particularly his hips. His legs are all over the place sometimes as he just doesn't feel them. God knows what happened to him before we got him, hopefully this coat will help, knitted in the best mohair! Photo modelled by Ozzie when it's done.........

Somewhere on the shelves I have a book about knitting with dog hair and in it is a pattern for a coat for a small dog made of hair from a big dog.

Could Mr. Kathy spin Rosie and Merlin's hair I wonder...?

It's all very surreal  Laughing

Finished the coat! Not taken the photo yet but I will. I have to say I'm not into dog clothes unless really necessary but this one does suit him!  Laughing
