Sorry been AWOL a few days...

Friday turned out, totally different to planned, Jacky phoned and asked for help with 'cushion covers' so I thought, bless her she came and got me and we spent the day sewing 'costumes' nothing like cushion covers  Rolling Eyes  hearing must be going now!!!! For her daughters competition, hopefully she will post a pic later.  Laughing
In the middle of all that K phoned to ask if she could come home for the weekend! Which she did, thankfully as I was pretty bushed and had to bring the tropicals into the greenhouse this weekend which she helped with.
Then just ate well and chatted, very lovely.

Today, well I think the house needs a bit of housework doing to it  Sad  and of course the usual ironing  Sad

Morning all  Very Happy

It's damp and murky here this morning, which didn't really inspire me to get out with the hounds ... but we did it anyway and now I wish I hadn't bothered hoovering up all the mud yesterday  Laughing

Two and a half weeks left at work - and counting!!

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

hello all

2 and a half weeks lizzie.....it will go quickly and seem very strange when you really walk out for the last time....

good day today, nice sunny weather for the visitors who came to give us a cheque for 2 grand from the charity fund raising year with Intelligent Horsemanship.....the people who came were really nice, we took them on a tour for the site and they will do a write up for the IHDG mag which is called the listening post.....

that took most of the day...during lunch i had to ring a company called boomerang productions who will be bringing a bunch of children on saturday to film them and us re the reality nativity that is being staged in december....they are only coming for the afternoon but it is quite a thing for us.....

tomorrow there are another 13 or so children coming for the day (scarey) from this school in swansea who hopefully will then do some fund raising for us over the rest of the school year...

i am really beginning to look forward to our london trip on the 10th nov...we are attending the "animals in war" memorial service on the 11th at the memorial in bishops gate.

www.animalsinwar.org.uk

we couldn't go because we were going to be in the falklands but now of course that has changed and this 24 hour trip to the big city will be my holiday.....mr nanny may be doing a citation, don't know but it is a good opportunity for us to do some serious networking as there will be several big names there....one of the organisers is a trustee of ours which is how we got the invite..
