Shocked Well I'm up early again! got abit of sleep earlier as I was bushed because we had a very early start yesterday as we went hunting again.

Can't sleep now as I'm all excited! just had confimation of an order from the new website from a Ranch in Texas!!!  Laughing I'm hoping UPS is better than "Royal Snail"  Question .

Anyway busy day for us today me and Richie have a meeting this morning  up at one of the local farms, lovely people not your pretend type with a bad attitude as we all seem to run into on occassion, like a few we have round here  Evil or Very Mad .

Their 4th genoration farmers and full of tips, old time recipes, cures, tales etc etc it's great! not like the chaff we have met before! I could talk to the Olde farmers wife for days non stop! We are going to be helping out here and there in exchange for a workshop for the forge to be used and a few other things we're planning on doing Cool

Life is great here and things really seem be taking off for us (about time too!)
Fresh Veg, Meat thats Verified, Certs etc, good company MY LIFE to date is complete! who could want for more?.

Awwww

P.S Libby when you coming down? 'cos there just happens to be... 6 furry bundles of joy... (propa mousers lol) needing a home very soon at the farm...hee heee hee!

P.P.S. Lizzie you got you Salt yet? if not let me know and I'll kick off with the PO I sent it sign for  Confused

Anyway Have A GREAT Day All!!!

Jeni

Morning all  Very Happy

Jeni, I do indeed have the salt - sorry - I thought I'd told you (me memory's going y'know...!)  It's *very* salty and lovely I must say.

It took me ages to get up the farm road this morning because the ****** hunt was there - horses and dogs (I refuse to call them hounds...) all over the place.  AND I was running late already.  AND it's an 'orrible day - dark and gloomy and damp.

And .... breathe ...  Laughing

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

My Kizzy was 18 and I lost my boy Zac at the age of 17  Crying or Very sad maybe just keep an eye on him and watch how much water he's drinking just in case he has diabetes at his age as that can tend to make them sleep allot but I'm sure he'll be fine  Very Happy

Glad to hear you got your Salt Lizzie was stressing over that I'm glad it arrived eventually! 3rd time lucky  Laughing

Anna thanks for your comment, its weird that somethings actually going right for a change  Very Happy

Got another busy day tommorow gotta be up early again  Shocked we're off hunting again I've really taken to it although the early mornings are abit of a drag we heard some horror stories the otherday about some idiots up here that the local farmers are NOT happy with so for welfare sake and our freezers sake we're helping at 110% miles an hour, it's good for me I think learning all this with people who actually care about wildlife and preservation of the land, it's really intresting, although Rabbit is classed as "Vermin" even the local farmers here have a tolorance of them and belive only take what you need like I do.

This path I'm on at the moment has been a real eye opener  Very Happy .

hello all

funny old day today, started out bright and breezy and ended in showers of the wettest kind

pleased to be able to say that the little pony Digit has made a complete recovery overnight...now we have to watch him for the next 3-4 days as the steroids could bring on laminitis so he will stay here and his stable mate Archie (aka the 4 legged water bed) will go home tomorrow whne we also take Star to her new home up near newcastle emlyn....

athe tellypoeple came along, they did no filming today but wanted to have a look at the donkeys to see if they were suitable...we had all 4 in the stables, zac who is not user friendle and turned his back, eeyore who is 4 years old and loves people though hasn't done much outside work and of course millie and adele who are well used to being in the lime light now...well they have picked eeyore to use so we have to take him to bethlehem next wednesday and get him to walk up to the village sign wot says bethlehem and then keep going past it like he's late for something...

sounds good doesn't it and so easy....

never work with children and animals is one saying i believe in utterly...

we shall see what happens this time...if you recall, millie went to be filmed last year for the one show and they didn't use her because she didn't look enough like a donkey though she is good enough for the lllandovery christingle service...mr nanny has promised the film company the world in essence...i hope eeyore will deliver.... Shocked
